The Baron Blade band has left the podiums for the moment to work on writing and rehearsing the new material for the album
that is just being prepared. This doesn't mean it won't be possible to see the band giving the gigs.
Brian: "It's still true we'll play anywhere and anytime with pleasure, we're only tryin' not to put everything on one pile and
to organize the things to finalize new songs not huddled through and so that we can go to studio sometime in the spring 2008."
Ares: "We're working on a few new things currently... two of them as a sample of our new production are already rehearsed and
in our show playlist... they demonstrate what direction is our music moving... as far as the new album is concidered, we'd like to
record it during the next year."
Adrian: "Hello metal fans there... we are in for preparin the new shit... music looks really goodd... for this time we want to
work more as an band so the work for new material will be more divided between members... and for the music - this time we are
more extreme as for the riff goes and even more melodic as for the catchy refrains goe...so keep your ears prepared for more
double bass kicks and more sick riffing and whole warrior scenery mighty melodies:-P..."
Vic: "New cd will be carried more in a progressive spirit and I think we'll be harder compared to the recent album... some songs
are ready and we work hard on them, you could hear some of them at our gigs... whole album should contain 14 tracks, recording
should start in the beginning of the spring... but I ain't gonna anticipate... "
22.1.2007 CD Launch Gig Report
A gig to introduce the new album "Guitars In The Wind" took a place in the City Theater of Zilina last saturday.
The special guest of the evening was the band Lykantrop that warmed up the audiance and the godfather of the new cd
became the Slovak guitar predator Palo Chodelka which is a pleasure and honor for the Baron Blade band.
It's hard to say how many people visited this gig because no entry was charged but it looked like the capacity of the hall was
overreached at some moments.
The Baron Blade played all the songs of the new album as well as many of its classic hits and some completely new songs, too.
A few cover versions of other bands songs were also played, when two of them sang brilliantly one of the guests on the stage
Mr. Pavol Ciel - drumers father by the way. Those were the Wasted Years originaly by Iron Maiden and the Smoke On The
Water by Deep Purple which was highly rated by the audiance. The band played then other cover versions - the Walk by Pantera
and the traditional Sad But True by Metallica.
There's no need to write anything about the afterparty... :-)
The Baron Blade would like to thank to all of the fans who came to support this concert and once more to all of the sponsors that
enabled to arrange this incredible show and at last but not at least to the City Thater of Zilina.
20.1.2007
What was only of the whispers known is really the truth... On saturday, january the 20th, 2007, the introducing gig of the new
BARON BLADE's album the "Guitars In The Wind" will take place in the City theater of Zilina (Slovakia). You can listen to the samples
of this album at this site for some time already and now you can hear all the songs of it for the first time from the stage.
Guest of the evening will be the band Lykantrop which will definitely heat-up all of the audience.
Some other interesting guests will appear throughout the evening and the name of the godfather of the new metal opus is left
for surprise as well.
Entry is free, all the rumbling starts at 18:00 and there is a big viking after party about to happen after the gig in the close
bar.
The BARON BLADE band would like to thank to sponsors which made possible to organise this gig:
Special thanx of the band to the management and all of the members and employees of the City Theater of Žilina.
20.9.2006 Album "Guitars In The Wind" officialy out
So it happened finaly. The last mastering of the newest album of the Baron Blade - the "Guitars In The Wind" was finished
yesterday in the Kobka studio. The cover that was designed and made by Adrian is finished as well. Now the sending of the cd to
the various magazines, radios, the other medias and the labels is awaiting the band members in the next months. You can listen to
the samples of the songs of the new album in the
audio
section and you can order the album through the well known
contacts
of the band for 5€ + the shipping cost. Click at the picture on the right to preview the new cover.
25.7.2006 Album "Guitars In The Wind" Finished! Sound Samples and Lyrics Added.
We finished recording of our new album "Guitars In The Wind" on the last but one sunday (16.7.2006) in the Kobka studio
(Martin, Slovakia). The album contains eight tracks with overall length of 32 minutes and 13 secs thereout three compositions
are instrumental, including intro and outro. List of the tracks is stated in
the discography of the band and we also added
the lyrics and what's most important, we added
the song samples, too.
One cuold object against the album length but we prefered quality over qauntity due to our financial abilitties. And someoene else
could complain about "just the song samples" at the same time. We can reply that first of all we'll be looking for a label and any
of labels would release something that's for free on the net very hardly. Consider at once that we're paying everything from our own
pockets though the sale of our cds won't pull us from this situation (the old cd costs 4 €, the new one will be a little more
expensive depending on the cover).
The cover is another thing to be mentioned, it's the reason why the cd will be officialy released (better to say "selfreleased)
on august 2006. So if you'd like to order new cd (through our email adress or a phone number) stay patient, please.
Another interesting information could be our intent to start prepering a new studio album in the autumn which should be
less instrumental than the "Guitars In The Wind" which of course doesn't mean that the instrumental performance is gonna be
weaker.
We plan the "new cd party" as well as a live record from some of our gigs, new Baron Blade t-shirts etc..
Stay METAL and listen to our music, we'll still be here and we'll be stronger!
7.5.2006 Sample From A New CD.
We've put into the audio section a sample (just one unfortunately)
from our prepared album "Guitars In The Wind".
Song "My Guitar Cries..." is just pre-mastered and the final sound is gonna be better (we'll do everything for it) and there is also
no need to be worry that the other songs are going to be all the same slow :-) We plan to finish our cd in the beginning of june in the
Kobka studios in Martin (Slovakia).
5.4.2006 Playlist.
Hey there, gigs are commin'! We hope u're lookin' forward to them and here's 90% liable playlist:
1; Too Far From Your Heart 2; Fire Blade 3; Am I Losing You? 4; Šedé Tváre 5; I Will Survive 6; Cure
7; Hunting High And Low 8; One Day 9; Guitars In The Wind 10; Sad But True 11; As I Am Dreamin' 12; Hells Bells
13; Ace of Aces
14.2.2006 Gigs!!! + New At The Site.
As VicTo from the Wolfhunt mentioned in forum, Baron Blade is going to play live! We'll bring all the information at this site in time.
A new window with all the future gigs (that will be not just a few, we hope) will appear. Baron Blade practice a couple of weeks already
in the format - Brian: guitar, leading voice; Adrian: drums; Viktor Krajčí: bass guitar; Jano "Cremo" Novosad: guitar, vocals;
Pictures and info of the new members will appear very soon as well.
The Wolfhunt is the metal band which will play one of the gigs with the Baron Blade, here's the link to their website:
www.wolfhunt.sk.
Another new thing is a jukebox at this site (top right corner) which replaced the background music that was slowing down the site loading
and not all of the browsers are supporting it anyway. In audio section there is a
complete Baron Blade Jukebox with all the mp3s by the Baron Blade. So anyone who wants to listen can listen or vice-versa.
13.1.2006 Drums Recording Started.
Adrian started the drums recording at 7th january in the Kobka studio (Martin, Sovakia).
Although he wasn't in a good condition both Brian and Adrian are happy with recorded drums
that are done for 5 songs. Guys plan to record some more songs couple of months later...
Now it is Brian's turn to record all the guitars, keyboards etc. to these 5 songs. This can be
slowed down due to the exams time at the college and his pilots exams as well, but he's
already started the recording. Watch the video of 'Adrian recording some real
metal drums here' (8,78 MB) !!!
27.12.2005 Something About A Prepared New Record.
We definitely decided (me & Adrian) that our new record we're prepaing
we'll be offered for download at this site again in the 'audio' section.
There will be some samples probably for the beginning but later you can
find all the complete tracks here. The old well-known format of MP3 will
be used again of course and the same way like the CD 'Xtreme Power of
Metal' until this time, everyone interested can order this new record
in audio quality with a cover. It is very likely that all of my records
will be offered this way, although in a lower quality until some crazy
label releases me.
We're officialy booked at the studio for the 7th of january 2006 where
we're going to record the drums and the rest of the instruments will
be recorded at my home studio ;-) then we'll go back to studio to record
all the vocals (and it's pretty enough of them) and finaly we'll do
mixing and mastering. There are 3 independent masterings planned from
which we'll choose one in the end. Further there are two verions of
he CD planned: one with pauses (that one will be at the net in mp3s)
and the second one without audible pauses with the instrumental
bridges. We cannot unveil the final date of releasing of our new record
to public because we don't wanna be in a hurry 'cause of a wanted
quality and a fucking must to board out by something else than music.
So I'm saying good bye with a new year's slogan 'Fuck 2005'
!
Brian.
8.11.2005
We launched this site a couple of days ago succesfuly and besides that we hope you will enjoy it I'd like to thank to Rastislav Palus and
to Marian Svalec for their help with creation of this site.
5.11.2005
We are planing to establish a new link on our site named 'Bonus Materials' or something like that, which should include the things like
our past interviews, videos from a band room or a studio, etc. Just let us know in the forum whether you are
interested in something like this or tell us what could be the other things you would welcome under a link like that.
28.10.2005
Yesterday we rehearsaled with Adrian last time. We definitely decided to record 4 songs for the beginning and we want to record the others
later. Exact date of recording is not stated yet. It depends on many inputs, not just on the time we finish all of the songs, and
we are not even in a hurry. By the way, one of the songs is a balad and it made Adrian pretty smilin, he said, he hasn't been beatin
a balad for two years :-)
10.10.2005
I'm starting to write this site but as I'm not a proffesional programmer, I'll probably need some help. I'm going to buy a new adress and
hire some space on the net, so no more sites like baronblade.something.xx but the adress you've visited right now. There is also
a danger of more frequent upgrading of this site 'cause it's gonna be all up to me, not the others. But I'd rather don't promise anything...
later september 2005
The work title for my next CD is "Guitars In The Wind", the same as the name of one song we're preparing. I can unveil that the theme of
this song is political and it sais about the revolution in Czecho-Slovakia in 1989.
september 2005
There is some praticing in progress (me & Adrian) because of the preparation of a new CD of the Baron Blade. We prefer quality over
quantity, so our plan is to record 3 songs first and then after a short time 3 others. The music is pulling me to many corners, but
I'd like to follow the legacy of the last cd "Xtreme Power of Metal", so you will be able to hear some power-speed elements certainly.
I'm thinkin about some simple rock-metal instrumental compositions, too. Be sure, there is a lot to look forward to and there is
possible cooperation with other musicians as well. Anyway, it seems that Adrian will record all of the drums and I'll do the rest.
Comparing with the last CD, I'll use more keyboards and guest vocals, but the guitar will still remain in the front and I promise to you
much more instrumental and composing quality at least...

Appeal To Our Fans & Friends, Help!
As you all know we don't have any band room to play (practicing room, playing room, whatever u call it) a few months already and although
we're lookin for something here in our town ZILINA all the time, we're still unlucky. Fuckin situation, people here are very unfriendly
to musicians, we're losing our faith! If you can help, please contact us as soon as possible, our future concerts are endangered...
2.4.2004
Our Style Is Still Growing
It's not a secret our style is changing with a time. Now it's more progress metal and still less and less speed and power metal.
It's on our fans if they like it or not (let's hope they will). But because of this it seems we'll have a new drum player. 'won't tell
u a name now and it's also not a certain thing but whatever we'll remember the Adrian's work - thanx 2 u, man!
xx.3.2004
We Canceled Our Concert In Nitra(SK)
First time it was a big surprise as for us as for our friends that we've been chosen to the competition "K N P" (Band for Sale).
From the time the arrangers of the competition let us know we had a week to come to Nitra and play the concert to get to the final
(final's for 8 bands). Due to our problems with a training room we haven't been in a good form, but we played all the week in the
Glorion's playing room - we want to thank them this way - and on Friday (we should have played on Saturday) we were still coordinatet
for 75% and we decided that if it's not for 100% we're not goin that's why we canceled our performance. We're sorry, maybe we've lost a
chance but we need a room to play! If u know 'bout something let us know...

Baron Blade Will Play The MORE/THAN/FEST
Our performance at the MORE/THAN/FEST has been confirmed. Don't miss this great metal festival in Martin, Slovakia! Except Baron Blade
there will be many good bands such as Lost Horizon, Freedom Call and others. The festival will take 2 days - 18th and 19th June and will
have two stages.
17.1.2004
We're drunk and stoned again... Message to all mankind - keep belchin, it's healthy!!!
10.11.2003
We captured a new bass player - Dusan Labuda. He's good we think but he wants to play with us just as a special guest, let's hope we'll
talk him over to become a full member of the Baron Blade. Till that time we ask every possible bass player to contact us and to try to
become our new bass player!
October 2003 Brian's Remainin At The College
Unbevelieble! Brian carries on his study 4 a pilot. After he was a new-boy three times at the same college he's in the second
year class now.
September 2003
Brian Fell On His Motorbike
The days are colder now than in the summer and the asphault is not so hot to hold the wheels. That's the thing Brian
didn't realyze on his Suzuki RF 600 R tryin to make a stoppie (to set the bike on a front wheel) in front of the bank in the town
Martin (Slovakia). Numerous audience saw how it is to make yourself a clever Dick. Brian's ok, bike is worth but mobile.
Picture of this accident is not available but we offer u this one where Brian sends the back tyre straight to hell.
12.9.2003
The new member of Baron Blade became Lucas Rusnak. Young guitar player with special feeling for the metal music. The time will check him out.
And we're still lookin for a new bass player...
9.3. 2003
Don't Miss Our Next Concert!
After a little pause we gonna play a concert in "Par Avion" club in Dolny Kubin. You can bet that we will kick your ass and bite out your
metal heart as allways! So don't hesitate too much and come to see us in "Par Avion" at 15th March, 19:00!
Brian A Few Weeks Ago:
"Hey everyone, what's up, this is Brian and I want to ask u if u've been at our last two concerts in the Guru clubland and in Sopa pub,
both in our hometown Zilina. If u wanna make any ramarks or to advice anything, let the message in a guestbook, but I hope u enjoyed
those metal rages. I just wanna say somethin about Sopa pub, as most of our fans I hope u know that one night after our concert the pub
burned. And it didn't burn by itself simply, some crazy motherfucker fired the pub. I'd fire his eyes with a red-hot fire-stick.
'don't know what redounded him to do it and 'don't wanna speak 'bout hypothesis, but a lot of metal fans in Zilina have lost the good
metal place to drink a beer and to hear a good music (mostly). Hey u who fired the pub: fuck u! and fuck u 4 all of the rest of your poor
fuckin life! I hope the God will repay u that all also with the interests!!!"
September 2002
What noone believed became the truth. Guitarist Glorian has joined the Baron Blade and now with two guitar magicians, immortal drum
warrior and the lord of the bass is the band stronger than ever before. Brian should drink less to handle the vocal. Baron Blade is
playing now as it's old songs as Glorian's songs of Glorion (the ancient faded metal band) and some new songs of course (4 example the
"Marion" written by Adrian). But at the concert there's no departure from the rule to hear some great metal hymns of the other metal bands
(Iron Maiden, Helloween...). Many things depend on money but guys from the Baron Blade will do everything to record more new albums in
this fuckin moneywicked ages.
